Antibes

Today we drove from Saint-Jeanette to a village called Antibes.  It is right along the Mediterranean Sea and the views are breathtaking.

Before heading to the beach we walked up to Picasso's Museum.
You are not allowed to take pictures once inside, but here is one from the outside.  Apparently Picasso worked on his art for 4 months here and a lot of his work during that time is kept in this museum.

Next we were off to the beach.  The guys took the kids and Ang and I went and picked up lunch to bring back.
Evan spent a lot of time looking for shells and sea glass.  He was very successful.
The girls snorkeled for hours and were able to see many different types of sea life.  Jordyn was really excited when she saw a squid or octopus in the rocks.  She also found a hermit crab.  She actually didn't know it was a crab until the shell she had left on her towel started crawling away.
Here is Read all geared up for a great sea adventure.
We didn't take many pictures today as we spent most of it at the beach.  It was so hot all we wanted to do was swim and eat Gelato ~ so we did!!
